As an independent thinker and independent (leaning more to the left) voter, I wasn't surprised by Donald Trump's win in the Presidential Election. I was more so disappointed in the moral progress and integrity of this country. Before you paint me as a regurgitater of the liberal news, note that the only news channel I watch is Fox News. Even the most radical conservatives had doubts about Trump. Everything about the election was bizarre. We had religious zealots endorsing Trump (think hard about that). We had working class people, fed up of the rich voting for Trump (think hard about that) We had women voting for Trump (think hard about that) The truth is that the people wanted change so much that they voted in someone who is under-qualified, temperamental, and inexperienced in global diplomacy. The people decided not to be the change themselves but to elect someone to take the burden (blame) off of their backs. The people wanted change but were unwilling to change. Gandhi says "Be the change you want to see in the world", to further that... don't let someone else be that change for you... #truthbomb
